What we can say, one sentence at a time

Every sentence in the archive that connects a product to a health outcome, scored for how exposed it leaves us, ready to keep, reword or cut. The prose is untouched and quoted exactly as it stands in the article.

This no longer looks for four words. A claim is a sentence joining something we sell to a health outcome, so the detector looks for that connection: an efficacy verb next to a named condition, a drug-like property, or a construction like “good for” and “suffering from”. All 94 articles were read again from scratch. It found 159 serious claims the old four-verb scan could not see, in 40 articles it had passed as clean. Everything below scores 41 or above; milder mentions are left out so the real ones are visible.
